At Harbour Voices, we have an exciting programme lined up for 2021.

We really enjoyed singing for an enthusiastic audience on Mother’s Day on May 9th. This concert titled “Fields and Feathers” was a celebration to all kinds of creatures on earth. It was a very eclectic programme and we had lots of fun.

We also had lots of fun singing at the now famous British feel-good event of the year: The Last Night of the Proms in Bruce Mason Centre on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th of June.

Our sing-along concert on Sunday 8th August
Messiah – For ever and ever and ever – Let’s HANDEL this together! was a great success. The audience was delighted with the performance of the choir and our fantastic guest soloists.

Unfortunately, due to the latest Covid outbreak, and as a consequence of a prolonged lockdown, the much anticipated event Carmina Burana , which was going to be a joint concert with GALS and other choirs, sadly had to be cancelled.

As we are still in lockdown, we continue to connect with our fellow choir member’s via zoom and we keep our hopes up that we will soon reach a normal situation again, allowing us to perform our Christmas concert on the 26th of November.

We have also started planing 2022, so you can already make note of of the following dates in your calendar:

Friday 26 November – 7.30pm
Christmas concert: Rutter’s Magnificat and some of your favourites Carols

Sunday 15 May – 3pm
French programme – DuruflĂ©, FaurĂ© and Many more

Sunday 14 August – 2pm
British programme (more details to be shared later)

Friday 25 November – 7.30pm

We’re always on the lookout for new recruits, don’t hesitate to contact us should you want to sing with us (harbourvoices.auckland@gmail.com)

We look forward to seeing you all at our concerts!
