At Harbour Voices, we have an exciting programme lined up for 2021.

We really enjoyed singing for an enthusiastic audience on Mother’s Day on May 9th. This concert titled “Fields and Feathers” was a celebration to all kinds of creatures on earth. It was a very eclectic programme and we had lots of fun.

We also had lots of fun singing at the now famous British feel-good event of the year: The Last Night of the Proms in Bruce Mason Centre on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th of June.

We are now rehearsing towards our next concert which will take place
on Sunday 8th August at 2pm:
Messiah – For ever and ever and ever – Let’s HANDEL this together!
Come sing along Handel’s great choral masterpiece and listen to some fantastic guest soloists.

But there will still be more to come this year, you can already save the following dates:

– 15th October – time TBC – Carmina Burana
Joint concert with GALS, AYC and the HTC Choir in Holy Trinity Cathedral, Parnell
Fundraiser for the Sir John Kirwan Foundation (charity focusing on mental health issues for young people)

– 26 November – 7.30pm – Christmas concert
Details to come later this year

We’re always on the lookout for new recruits, don’t hesitate to contact us should you want to sing with us (harbourvoices.auckland@gmail.com)

We look forward to seeing you all at our concerts!
