Thank you so much to all who supported Harbour Voices’ 2019 programme.
What a blast we had last year!

We were all really happy to resume rehearsals in February this year, unfortunately due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we had to cancel our first concert which should have taken place on May 9th and and have had to take an indefinitive break in our rehearsals.
During this surreal time, we would like to reassure you all, keep spirits up and encourage a positive outlook!
Thanks to technology, the choir’s committee is keeping an active dialogue and the Choir have already embarked on “Zoom” rehearsals hosted by our Musical Director Nicholas Forbes.

Should circumstances permit, we will endeavour to stage a Winter programme sometime in August, but more about that later.

Please don’t hesitate to like our Facebook page, where we will try to give some news very soon.
And, only if you’re a member of our choir, please join our closed Facebook group which will be another way to keep in touch.

In the meantime, let’s flatten the curve: Stay Safe, Stay Home!

No one really knows how long this situation will last, but we’re already looking forward to going back to normality in hopefully a few months time, and remember, we’re always keen to hear from potential new members.
So if you’re interested and would like to know more about joining us, don’t hesitate to contact us by writing to

A note from the Musical Director

We have recently changed our name from the North Shore Chorale to Harbour Voices, to better reflect the diversity of our membership and the outreach and scope of our performances.

We look forward to welcoming you all at our concerts and thank you for your ongoing support of this wonderful choir.

Ngā mihi,

Nicholas Forbes, Musical Director
